Christmas Cheer!

Just wanted to update everyone with some cute pictures of the girls, since I've been so bad about updated our website lately.  Last weekend, we went to our city's "Tree Lighting", which is just a little free community event.  We had a great time with the girls!  They got their faces painted:

And Carson chose a Christmas tree.

We went on a hayride, wrote letters to Santa (and got our letter back from him in the mail yesterday!), watched a local little girls' dance team perform, saw Santa and Rudolph and Frosty walking around, had hot chocolate and popcorn, and just really had a great time!

We are really looking forward to Christmas this year, and are enjoying having the house all decorated up!  Have a very Merry Christmas everyone, and always remember the reason for the season ~ Jesus!! 

Having a GREAT weekend!

We've had so much fun!  On Friday, I was DYING to go to the lake, so I found a public beach at Grapevine Lake and we took the girls to the lake for their first time ever!  The loved the waves, and digging in the sand.  I can't wait to take them to the ocean eventually!!!  We only stayed about an hour, which was enough, and it was fabulous!  Here's a few pictures of the girls (Carson wouldn't stay still long enough for me to get very good pictures of her! haha!)

After that, we went to eat at a catfish place. John got crawfish *YUK* and the girls were freaking that he was "eating bugs" . I had a nice grilled red snapper, and the girls had popcorn shrimp.   (OK, they didn't eat much of the shrimp, but loved the hushpuppies).

Then we went to my brothers new Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Southlake Town Square and got dessert.  

Today, we went to the local animal shelter's weekend festival, with a bounce house, sno cones and popcorn, etc. Good FREE! fun for about 30-45 mins. Then went to eat at Jason's Deli.

After naps, we took the girls to the city water park (sorry, no pictures from there today), and swam for about an hour & 1/2 or so.  Carson is putting her head underwater and holding her breath GREAT!  She will put her face in, while we hold her, and she'll kick like she's swimming.  We've had swim lessons this week, and have them next week too, so this was good practice.  Jordy is still afraid, but is putting her face in the water a little bit now...

Then tonight, we went to eat chinese food (which I was surprised but the girls ate great!), and then went back to my brothers for more chocolate.  LOL!~

We've been having so much fun together.

This weekend, they've loved playing on the Wii.  Right now they're singing on the High School Musical game, and they enjoyed setting up their Mii characters this morning (picking out characters & customizing them to look like them.)

We were home sick on Friday... The twins and John have all had sore throats and runny noses, etc.  I hope I don't get it!

Quick update

First and foremost, I just added a VIDEO of Carson dancing to Bella Dancerella.  Go check it out!!!!

And then, here's a few pics of the girls "playing" Guitar Hero.    They love "Rock and Roll All Nite" by Kiss.  Carson really is jamming (or so she thinks)!  Hahaha!
